Anthony Coakley was born in Nassau, Bahamas. After completing his high school studies, Anthony discovered his passion for journalism and began his studies at Media and Communication campus of The University of The West Indies. Anthony went on to complete and receive his Associates Degree in Broadcasting Radio and Television at City College, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Anthony’s career in entertainment began at the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas, where he served as Radio Programming Manager and on-air radio personality. Anthony furthered his expertise in journalism at Tribune Radio Ltd. Serving in various positions including Station Operations and Promotions Manager, Assistant Radio Programming Director and also the Morning Show host on Y98.7FM. When he is not entertaining us on the radio, Anthony continues to work on the Bahamian cultural scene. He serves on various boards including One Family Junkanoo and Community Organization and Bahamas Urban Youth Development Centre. He is also one of the founders of Enigma Bahamas Carnival Group. In his free time Anthony is an avid runner.
